About Us

 Jacob Mackenzie Design was created by brothers; Joshua Jacob and Owen Mackenzie.

In our parents’ home, you will find the bench that our Grandfather used to take his Sunday afternoon naps on, with a little TLC it now sits proudly in their entryway. You will also find a cabinet standing in their dining room, a cabinet that has been a feature in their home for years. A while back we learned that one of our closest friends’ Grandfather was the maker behind that cabinet. You see here at Jacob Mackenzie Design we see furniture as the things that memories are made around. We build each and every one of our custom pieces with this in mind.

About Joshua Jacob

Josh looks after our business development and sales. He has a passion for creativity and helping our customers to create the dream furniture they have in mind. Josh also loves seeing the big picture and from design to delivery, he plays a part in every step.

About Owen Mackenzie

Owen serves as our shop foreman, he has a passion for creating beautiful furniture that stands the test of time. Owen’s heart for creating custom pieces goes into every detail that the piece requires. From selecting the finest wood to applying the best finish, Owen is diligent in producing quality furniture that we can be proud of.
